Project Information
For this coastal project in Indian Rocks Beach, PITCH Roofing delivered high-performance protection backed by our exclusive Black Tie Program. The undertaking began with comprehensive pre-production property protection followed by a complete tear-off of the existing roofing materials. Our meticulous crew inspected the entire structure and re-nailed the decking to align with stringent current Florida building code requirements, ensuring the home was ready for high-wind environments. To establish a superior waterproof barrier, we dried in the roof using premium self-adhered high-temp underlayment applied directly to the deck, along with new drip-edge flashing, pipe boots, stacks, and properly configured roof ventilation.
The main installation upgraded the home with a premium 24-gauge Galvalume Standing Seam Metal Roof system featuring non-exposed fasteners for a sleek, modern finish. We utilized a Nail strip Snap Lock Striated panel with a 1" seam height and 16" width in a standard Mill Finish. A distinct challenge of this complex project involved the successful removal and re-installation of the property’s existing solar panels, alongside the installation of a new 35W Attic Breeze Solar Fan to optimize attic temperatures and energy efficiency. After a rigorous quality control inspection and multi-point magnetic nail sweeps, we scheduled a certified wind mitigation inspection to finalize the project, which is backed by our robust 15-Year Workmanship Warranty.
