This recent project from PITCH Roofing included a full flat roof and mansard shingle roof replacement, completed to meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and code compliance. For the flat roof, our team installed a custom-designed tapered Polyiso insulation system to improve drainage in accordance with Florida building requirements. The system featured strategically built crickets to direct water efficiently to eight new scuppers. We followed this with a full installation of GAF 60 mil EverGuard TPO membrane across the roof deck and parapet walls, with all seams heat-welded for superior durability. New flashings, ventilation components, and custom-fabricated coping were installed, and all work was finished with a certified wind mitigation inspection and a full debris cleanup as part of our quality control process.
For the mansard roof sections, we removed all existing materials and re-nailed the decking to meet Florida code. Any damaged wood was replaced before we installed two layers of Owens Corning Rhino U20 synthetic underlayment and Rhino Granulated peel-and-stick protection in high-risk areas. The new roofing system featured Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Designer shingles with StreakGuard Algae Protection and SureNail Technology, along with ProEdge Hip & Ridge shingles for a complete and polished finish. This roof is backed by the Owens Corning Preferred Warranty and includes enrollment in our exclusive Black Tie Program, another example of Roofing Done Right.
